Coherent ® High performance OBIS ™ The LX/LS laser is designed to be compact and features a plug and play laser platform that can achieve various wavelength ranges (from ultraviolet to near-infrared) on a single platform. Even if each laser utilizes two technologies, namely Coherent optically pumped semiconductor laser (OPSL) or diode based laser, the OBIS LX/LS laser system has a set of identical beam parameters, allowing users to use a plug and play laser platform to change wavelengths as needed. Each laser is equipped with USB, RS-485, and fully functional I/O interfaces. A multi-color LED has been integrated into the top cover to visualize the laser status.

The OBIS LX/LS series has significant advantages in wavelength stability, power stability, and beam quality compared to ordinary semiconductor lasers. It is a high-quality light source suitable for confocal microscopy, DNA sequencing, flow cytometry, and other applications that require high-quality light sources.
