Coherent ® LightSmyth ™ Transmission diffraction gratings are manufactured through precision photolithography wafer level manufacturing processes, exhibiting excellent optical performance, low polarization sensitivity, and low scattering. These gratings have a high diffraction efficiency of ≥ 94% and can minimize optical losses when used in multi-channel configurations. The gratings designed for near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths between 800-1800 nanometers have a precise line density uniformity of 0.001 lines per millimeter. Coherent ® LightSmyth ™ Transmission diffraction gratings are used in demanding applications, including spectral beam combining (SBC), lidar, optical communication, picosecond and femtosecond pulse compression, and spectroscopy. These gratings do not contain organic materials, can be used with high-power lasers, and can be used in environments up to 500 ° C without affecting performance.
