High definition optical system, light source brightness can be adjusted up to 20 levels;
● Multiple hardness conversion functions;
Diagonal length D1 and D2 are encoder inputs to reduce human reading errors;
The objective lens and indenter can be automatically switched for accurate positioning.
New Vickers hardness testerSuitable for testing metal structures, metallurgy and metallography research, including small parts, thin plates, metal foils, wires, thin hardening layers and electroplated surface coatings, quenched hardening layers, nitride layers, steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, alloys, heat treatment, carbonization, ultra small and very thin parts with a thickness of up to 3 μ m, and measuring the depth of hardening layers.
The Vickers hardness test uses a 136 ° diamond indenter to press the surface of the tested object with a specified test force (F). After holding the test force for a specified time, the test force is removed, and the diagonal (d) of the indentation on the surface of the specimen is measured using a micrometer eyepiece. The average pressure (N/mm2) borne by the conical surface area of the indentation is calculated, which is the Vickers hardness value.

| Note: When the diagonal of the indentation is less than 0.020mm, the error value is not given in the table. For the median value, its maximum allowable error can be obtained by interpolation. 3. The values in the table are given with a maximum error of 0.001mm or 2% of the average diagonal of the indentation, whichever is greater. | |||||||||||||

Operation of ruler automatic turret model:
1. Observe the two lines within the field of view through the eyepiece and rotate the eye mask to make the lines clearNote: Rotating the eye mask may cause blurry imaging of the indentation. After the two engraved lines are clear, rotate the lifting wheel to make the indentation image clear.
2. Rotate the drums on both sides of the micrometer eyepiece so that the inner sides of the two lines are infinitely close, that is, when the light transmission between the inner sides of the two lines gradually reaches a critical state of light and no light, observe whether the zero position line on the measuring drum is aligned. (This has been corrected before leaving the factory, please do not adjust it arbitrarily, as everyone's vision condition is different).
3. Rotate the two drums of the micrometer eyepiece in reverse, gradually separating the two engraved lines. Rotate the left drum of the eyepiece to make the inner side of the left engraved line tangent to the left edge of the indentation.
4. Rotate the right measuring drum to make the inner side of the right engraved line tangent to the edge on the right side of the indentation. Record the data and enter the value of the indentation length. Press OK and complete the measurement on D1.
5. Rotate the micrometer eyepiece by 90 ° (note that it should be tightly attached to the eyepiece tube when rotating), rotate the drum to make the inner side of the lower engraved line tangent to the edge below the indentation.
6. Rotate the measuring drum to make the inner side of the upper engraved line tangent to the edge of the indentation. Record the data and enter the value of the indentation length. Press OK and D2 to complete the measurement. The instrument automatically calculates the hardness value and displays it, and the number of tests automatically increases by one, completing one measurement.
7. Calculation of indentation length: The eyepiece measures the number of rotations (on the drum shaft) and the number of grids on the outer circumference of the drum when the inner side of the moving engraved line is tangent to the indentation diagonal after one rotation of the drum by 50 grids. For example, if the drum rotates twice and there are 12 small grids on the outer circumference, then the total is 112 grids. When entering the machine, simply enter 112 grids. (Actual length of indentation diagonal: 0.25 × 112=56 μ m)
