The National Nonferrous Metals and Electronic Materials Analysis and Testing Center is a research and testing institution established in June 1983 with the approval of the former National Science and Technology Commission. It is located at the Beijing Nonferrous Metals Research Institute and operates under the guidance of the national government. The National Nonferrous Metals and Electronic Materials Analysis and Testing Center is one of the fourteen guojiaji analysis and testing centers.
The center passed the Metrology Certification (CMA) in 1992 and was accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) in 2001.The center fulfills three major functions: a service center for analysis and testing, a research center for analysis and testing methods, and a training center for analysis and testing personnel. It is positioned as a high-level national analysis and testing institution and plays an important role in providing testing services for major national scientific research and engineering projects.
