Overview

The Narda Fieldman electromagnetic field intensity meter is used for non ionizing electromagnetic radiation measurement and can accurately measure the field strength of high-frequency and low-frequency signals. Equipped with digital probes for measuring electric or magnetic field strength, it covers static and low-frequency field measurements in medical and industrial applications, as well as mobile radio frequency and millimeter wave application measurements. Digital probes include flat response probes and weighted probes based on human safety standards. The low-frequency probe has built-in FFT analysis function, which can perform spectrum measurement and time-domain analysis, with a frequency of up to 400kHz.

Multiple probes
The FieldMan host can adapt to various types of omnidirectional probes. The probe can transmit sampling data to the FieldMan host through a USB interface or fiber optic interface. Compared with high impedance analog interfaces, this data transmission method has less interference. The spiral design and multi pin connection design at the probe interface make the connection between the probe and the host very sturdy and easy to disassemble. After the probe is connected to the host, the host will automatically recognize the probe information. The temperature sensor built into the probe will automatically collect temperature data and transmit it to the host. In addition, temperature data can also help the host implement temperature compensation in addition to self calibration to improve measurement accuracy. The FieldMan host starts self checking upon startup, helping users detect possible errors and faults in the instrument without the need for additional instruments for this purpose. Multi needle probes require regular calibration to ensure the accuracy of measurement values. By equipping different types of probes, the FieldMan host can be adapted to various applications
