Overview

Nano particle size and Zeta potential analyzer nanoParticle SZ-100V2

Product Details

Advanced analytical instruments help you unravel the mysteries of the nano world. Only a single device is needed to characterize three parameters of nanoparticles: particle size, Zeta potential, and molecular weight.

The development of nanotechnology is a continuous process aimed at controlling the size of substances at the atomic and molecular levels, in order to obtain materials and products with better performance. The miniaturization of components, i.e. nanoscale control, can effectively achieve faster measurement speeds, better equipment performance, and lower equipment operating energy consumption. Nanotechnology plays a crucial role in many fields of daily life, such as food, cosmetics, and life sciences.

Simple and efficient multi parameter analysis of nanoparticles!

One device with three functions can perform high-sensitivity and high-precision analysis on each measurement parameter.

Particle size measurement range0.3 nm ~ 10 µm

The SZ-100V2 series uses the principle of dynamic light scattering (DLS) to measure particle size and distribution, achieving wide concentration range sample measurement. This series can accurately measure low concentration samples as low as ppm and high concentration samples as high as tens of percent. It can use commercially available sample pools or measure small volume samples.

Zeta potential measurement range– 500 ~ + 500 mV

The measurement of Zeta potential value using HORIBA Zeta potential sample cell only requires 100 μ L of sample, and the dispersion stability of the sample can be predicted and controlled through Zeta potential. The higher the Zeta potential value, the more stable the dispersion system, which is of great significance for the research of product formulation.

Molecular weight measurement range1 × 103~ 2 × 107Da

By measuring the static light scattering intensity at different concentrations and calculating the absolute molecular weight (M) of the sample using the Debye point methodw)And the second virial coefficient (A2).

The SZ-100V2 series has excellent complex information processing and learning capabilities, and can quickly determine the characteristics of nanoparticles!

  • The SZ-100V2 series has a dual optical path design, which can measure high concentration samples such as slurries and dyes; It can also be used to measure low concentration samples, such as proteins, polymers, etc.

  • The three major parameters of nanoparticles - particle size, Zeta potential, and molecular weight - can be characterized using a single device

  • The Zeta potential sample cell developed by HORIBA can prevent contamination of the sample. The sample pool capacity (minimum capacity of 100 μ L) is small and suitable for analyzing diluted samples.

  • The electrode of the Zeta potential sample cell developed by HORIBA is made of carbon material, which is not corroded by high salt samples such as salt solutions.
