Inert or oxidizing atmosphere can be introduced, with precise and controllable flow rate, providing an optimized heat transfer environment for measurement.
Two different cooling systems can be equipped: the liquid nitrogen system can be linearly cooled to -170 ° C, and the compressed air cooling system with vortex tubes can be cooled to 0 ° C.
The controllable maximum force range reaches 24N (static force 12N, dynamic force 12N), suitable for measuring very hard samples. If the range is limited to 4N static force and 4N dynamic force, the resolution will be further improved.
A 20mm stroke stepper motor can accurately measure the length changes of the sample during DMA testing. This is crucial for various static mode tests supported by DMA 242E Artemis, such as creep, relaxation, and TMA modes.
