Easy to use, convenient, safe and reliable. Any setting within the parameter setting range (including polarity selection, freely adjustable pulse repetition period, counter function, and discharge detection) can be used at discharge voltage.

The touch panel is equipped with a thumb wheel or parameter setting keys, which can display functions and test data according to the language version selected by the user, providing convenient and safe operation for users around the world.

It has a variable threshold selection function and can perform accurate discharge detection. This detection function can be turned off when testing non-conductive surfaces of EUT, such as plastic shells.

The pre edited configuration of NSG438 for IEC/EN 61000-4-2 and ISO 10605 standards ensures that NSG438 automatically and accurately calls pre-set settings, installs discharge networks that are compatible with the standards, and continuously displays actual RC values. The solidified installation of the HV discharge network eliminates the effects of ionization and leakage currents.

The integrated interlocking system of NSG438 allows for easy and safe assembly and configuration even when combined with other testing instruments.

The emergency stop switch that comes with the NSG438 system can serve as an additional safety and emergency protection function.

According to ISO standards, NSG438 requires calibration and functional checks of the instrument before starting measurement. However, NSG438 has built-in ISO self calibration function that meets this requirement, eliminating the need for additional calibration and functional checks, which can save a lot of testing time. More special features include: custom adjustment of pulse repetition rate designed for research and development, random discharge function to shorten testing time, and optional charge remover for EUT discharge.

NSG438 and other related accessories are packaged in a simple and sturdy portable instrument box.
