1. Introduction
The environment for laying power cables is extremely complex, and the precise location of cable faults is crucial throughout the entire fault testing process. Under today's technological conditions, there are already good solutions for distance measurement of power cable faults. However, even the most accurate distance measurement can only determine a rough range due to installation and environmental influences, and cannot accurately pinpoint, resulting in high labor intensity, blindness, and low efficiency.
Based on the new research results, our company has developed a set of multiple fixed-point methods with high anti-interference and sensitivityAccurate fault location product---Multi functional intelligent cable fault precise locator. This product has two modes: acoustic magnetic synchronization fixed-point and step voltage fixed-point. It combines high-performance digital filtering circuits with low-noise design. The two methods of acoustic magnetic synchronization and step voltage are compared and verified with each other, which can better ensure the accuracy and efficiency of fixed-point. At the same time, multiple testing methods can be selected based on environmental limitations; Equipped with mute function and intuitive human-machine interface; With ultra-high anti-interference ability and multiple filtering frequency bands, it can accurately and quickly locate various cable faults.

Adopting a high brightness 4.3-inch OLED color LCD, it is not affected by strong light environments, making the display interface clearer
Adopting a programmable pulse coding keyboard, the operation is intelligent and convenient
Using four filtering frequency bands: low frequency band, mid frequency band, high frequency band, and full frequency band, select them at the appropriate time
Using digital filtering technology to process audio signals results in more distinct characteristic frequency bands and better filtering performance
The fault distance is displayed digitally, and can be displayed within a maximum range of 25m
Real time display of audio signal waveform, allowing for rough observation of fault point distance by observing repetitive waveform characteristics and distance axis. The operator is less likely to fatigue when observing the waveform, and can also perform detailed analysis of audio waveforms within 15m in single mode, supporting page flipping display
There are single and continuous modes in the acoustic magnetic fixed-point mode, which can be selected according to the actual situation to carefully analyze the waveform and conduct overall periodic analysis
The step voltage mode adopts waveform continuous and real-time display, which helps to analyze continuous signals and distinguish sudden changes in signals, facilitating accurate positioning
The step voltage signal display is not limited in amplitude, and it automatically attenuates large signals during the testing process. There are a total of 20 levels to adjust the signal strength, ensuring easy identification of the data waveform
Equipped with mute function, ensuring that the operator's strong noise when moving the probe can harm the human ear
