Mouse pole climbing experimental platform

1、 Product Introduction

Mouse pole climbing experimental platformIt is a professional experimental equipment used to evaluate the motor coordination, balance ability, and muscle strength of mice. It is widely used in research fields such as neuroscience, pharmacology, and exercise physiology, and is particularly suitable for testing the motor function of neurodegenerative disease model mice or the effects of drugs on motor ability.

2、 Mouse pole climbing experiment steps

1Experimental mouse treatment: Select mice according to the national experimental animal quality standards, and conduct corresponding treatment and feeding of mice according to experimental requirements.

2Selection of climbing poles: Choose poles suitable for experimental mice to crawl, usually with a diameter of1cm左右The height is50cm左右The wooden pole.

3Adaptation training: Prior to formal testing, animals undergo adaptation training by placing them at the bottom of a pole and gradually moving the pole upwards to allow them to gradually adapt.

4Testing phase: In the formal testing phase, place the experimental mice with their heads facing upwards on top of the rod. Animals will naturally orient downwards and descend along the length of the pole in order to return to their cages. Conduct multiple experiments and record the time it takes for the mice to face downwards(T rotation) and the time required to descend to the bottom of the pole (T descent).

5Data analysis: Conduct statistical analysis on the experimental results of the test, calculate the average, standard deviation, variance and other parameters of the time used by different experimental mice in the turning and descending process, and further evaluate the effect of experimental processing on mouse coordination ability and muscle function.

6Attention: During the pole climbing test, if a mouse falls, it cannot be counted as a result. Additionally, the age, weight, gender, or level of stress of the mouse may affect the experimental results.
