The motor end cover belongs to mechanical processing, and the motor belongs to electromechanical products. The end cap is just a component of the motor. The motor end cover generally refers to the cover at both ends of the motor with an axial dimension greater than the radial dimension. Its main function is to determine the spatial position of the rotor shaft. Of course, it needs to be matched with different forms of bearings and connected to the outer shell of the fixed motor stator through the end cover to ensure the gap between the rotor and stator. It is usually made of cast iron technology, and small motors can also be formed by sheet metal stamping.
1) If the installation type of the motor is B3, there is no difference in size between the front and rear end covers, only that there are screw holes on the rear end cover to fix the fan cover; 2) If the installation type of the motor is B5, there is a significant difference in size between the front and rear end covers, and there is a flange on the front end cover.
