Overview

The Mill Gard carbon monoxide monitoring system mainly provides early alarms for fire alarms inside the coal mill and coal storage bin. The design concept is to monitor the concentration of CO generated by coal spontaneous combustion. The system uses a powerful sampling pump to extract CO gas from the coal mill or coal bunker through a sampling probe. The sample gas is then preprocessed and enters an industrial grade CO sensor to complete the detection of gas accumulation. Any accumulated increase in CO concentration is a sign of early fire alarm, and the system can issue corresponding alarms to prevent coal mill explosions.
