1、 Preparation before operation

Safety inspection: Confirm that the equipment surface is clean, the power cord is normal, and the components are intact and fixed. Check whether the temperature and humidity in the laboratory meet the standards, and whether the ventilation system is normal to eliminate volatile gases in the furnace.

Equipment preheating: Before the experiment, the equipment needs to be preheated to the specified working temperature (usually 20-30 minutes), and gloves and protective goggles should be worn to ensure safety.

Sample preparation: Slowly place the sample on the melting point analyzer rack to avoid mechanical impact. If gas protection is required, the connection of the ventilation pipeline and valves should be checked.

2、 Basic operating steps

Startup and initialization

Connect the power supply, press the external power switch of the control cabinet, then open the control cabinet door and close the internal power switch.

Start the servo system: Turn the "servo start/stop" switch clockwise and press the "origin return" button to confirm the zero point of the platform.

Tian Platform Control

Manual control: Control the lifting of the platform through the lifting handle, paying attention to the upper and lower limits.

Microcomputer control: Start the testing software and select the "move according to set parameters" or "directly control the movement of the platform" mode. After entering the target position and movement speed, click the "Motion Start" button.

Electric furnace temperature control

Set temperature control program, including heating rate (not exceeding 10 ℃/min) and target temperature.

Press the "Electric Furnace Start" button to start working. When the electric furnace is working normally, it needs to be protected by cooling water.

Test operation

Select the appropriate testing method and accuracy based on the testing items (conductivity, density, surface tension, primary crystallization temperature).

For example, conductivity testing uses the "CVCC method" and density testing uses the "Archimedes method".

Data recording and analysis

Real time recording of test data, such as current, voltage, temperature, etc.

Use testing software to analyze data and generate reports.

3、 Safety precautions

High temperature protection: The equipment is a high-temperature experimental device, and furnace bricks, furnace extracts, operating rods, electrodes, etc. may all have high temperatures, so burns should be avoided.

Emergency handling: In case of an emergency, immediately press the "emergency stop" button to cut off the servo system. After use, it is necessary to identify the cause of the malfunction and eliminate it.

Operation specification: Do not leak molten salt into the furnace bottom. The high-temperature molten material after testing should be poured into the pre dried mold.

4、 Maintenance and upkeep

Daily cleaning: Use paper towels or soft wipes to wipe the surface of the instrument, keeping it clean and dust-free. Component inspection: Regularly inspect equipment components such as heaters, thermistors, and thermometers, and use specialized cleaning solutions to remove dirt and oxides.

Professional calibration: It is recommended to provide professional calibration services at least once a year, using standard substances such as high-purity indium, tungsten wire, and platinum rhodium thermometers.

5、 Calibration method

Temperature calibration: Use standard thermometers or calibration equipment to check the accuracy of the temperature control system.

Conductivity calibration: Use standard conductivity solution to calibrate the accuracy of the conductivity measurement system.

Other parameter calibration: Use corresponding standard substances for calibration according to specific testing items.
