The FDP series deep ultraviolet quartz fiber produced by Polymicro Technologies (PT) under Molex, represented by Shanghai Lianjian Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., has an operating wavelength as low as 190nm, ultra-high ultraviolet transmission, ultra-low ultraviolet aging, and excellent radiation resistance. It is a radiation resistant optical fiber. When applied in the deep ultraviolet region (190nm-325nm), the influence of high ultraviolet radiation on the transmission of silica core optical fibers must be considered. Traditional ultraviolet optical fibers are affected by external ultraviolet radiation in this wavelength range, resulting in a sharp decrease in transmission efficiency and extremely unstable transmission, which may lead to short wave failure in a short period of time.
