Product Details

Milk somatic cell analysisSomaCount, manufactured according to Bentley Instruments' rigorous design principles, can automatically detect 100 milk samples per hour. Bentley Instruments' SomaCount series of products represents the highest level of somatic cell detection technology in over 20 years.

BentleyMilk somatic cell analysisSomaCount is a validated fluorescent blood cell counting method used to calculate the number of somatic cells. Use a laser flow cytometry based method to determine the number of somatic cells in raw milk. Flow cytometry is a highly effective and widely used technique in the medical field for detection, analysis, and cell sorting.

Milk samples are treated with a specially formulated buffer solution to stain the somatic cells with fluorescent dyes. These solutions are injected into a flow cytometer and collected by water pressure to ensure that the stained somatic cells can cut off a strong laser beam, causing the somatic cells to emit fluorescence. Then, these fluorescent substances are collected and detected. Display the height and width of electronic pulses in a bar chart in the overall somatic cell count results. These bar charts are recorded and archived for future retrieval, making it possible to enhance data analysis methods.

The simple and intuitive Windows operating interface makes it easy for operators to get started. This software has advanced data output and reporting functions, as well as laboratory management personnel can remotely monitor instrument status and analysis results through the network.

Due to the large amount of diagnostic information collected by the instrument, users can confirm that the instrument is operating in its optimal state when obtaining sampling data. Therefore, every time a sample is taken, a complete set of diagnostic readings is saved, and during the data collection process, the status of the instrument is verified through auditing and tracking. Before sampling, the sample is stirred and temperature values are measured and recorded. In addition, an external temperature probe can be provided for users to use in the water bath constant temperature chamber, and the temperature can be recorded every time the sample is taken. Examples of other diagnostic information include various critical temperatures, optical system positioning, laser power, pump characteristic pressure curves, humidity, and the condition of the instrument after impact and vibration.

If there is a problem with the instrument, you should immediately contact Bentley Instruments' service personnel to view the diagnostic information of these instruments, so that the problem can be easily resolved. All service personnel of Bentley Instruments can also remotely access diagnostic information from the instruments to further solve problems.
