Micromeritics capillary permeation method for through-hole size analyzer
Simple, accurate, and comprehensive
Professional measurement of through-hole diameter distribution

Capillary permeation method for pore size analysis (CFP), also known as gas-liquid pore size analysis (GLP), is a fast and reliable method used to determine the size and relative volume ratio of through holes in thin films and films. This pressure based displacement technology does not require model fitting or image processing to measure the diameter of pores and calculate the average value over a considerable testing area. This method has fast measurement speed, sample preparation time of less than 30 seconds, and does not involve mercury.

Key measurement data
Bubble point, upper limit of pore size:
Low pressure of displacement occurs.
Average (flow) aperture:
Intersection point of wet curve and semi dry curve.
Lower limit of aperture:
Intersection point of wet curve and dry curve.
Aperture distribution:
The continuous differentiation and cumulative pore size distribution reveal the overall structure of membrane pores.
Flexible adjustment of sample size
The flexible design of the Micromeritics capillary permeation through-hole analyzer can adapt to samples of different diameters: 13mm, 25mm, 47mm, all of these sizes
All can be achieved in the same sample storage tray. Multiple sample supports can provide reliable measurements under different pressures, even for thin films or fragile materials
The membrane is no exception, and it can also reduce gas consumption by up to 95%.
