Micromeritics McMurdicAutoPoreV seriesHigh performance fully automatic mercury intrusion analyzer
Micromeritics AutoPoreV series high-performance fully automaticMercury intrusion analyzerProvide faster and more accurate measurements for materials with wide aperture distributions compared to other methods. The instrument highlights enhanced safety performance while also adding new data processing and reporting options, providing more information on material pore geometry and fluid permeability.

Mercury injection analysis technology is based on the method of injecting mercury into pore structures under precisely controlled pressure. In addition to the advantages of speed, accuracy, and wide analysis range, mercury intrusion porosimetry analyzers also allow users to calculate numerous sample characteristics, such as pore size distribution, total pore volume, total pore specific surface area, median pore size, and sample density (bulk density and skeleton density).
High performance fully automatic mercury intrusion analyzerOperational advantages
Capable of measuring pore diameters ranging from 0.003 to 1100 µ m
Within the pressure range of 0.2psi to 50psi, a slight pressure increment of 0.05psi can be provided, allowing for detailed data collection within the large pore range
The high-resolution (below micro upgrade) analysis mode can accurately measure the volume of mercury in and out of the sample, allowing users to develop more stringent sample specifications, improve product processes, and obtain high-quality research and development data
Three operating modes: fast scanning, time or mercury injection rate balance
Real time diagnosis can provide information on critical states or issues that may harm the analysis results
• Collect higher resolution data, with mercury injection and removal volumes accurate to less than 0.1 μ L
Improved linear closure method for high-pressure chamber
Mercury intrusion analyzerDesign advantages
• Higher safety level, reducing the risk of mercury spillage and operator exposure
There are a total of 4 low-voltage stations and 2 high-voltage stations to provide high-throughput measurement samples
High pressure options: 33000psi or 60000psi
Low noise high-pressure generation system
Quick scan mode allows continuous pressure increase to near equilibrium and provides quick filtering
The selection of baseline correction process (automatic, differential or manual) can correct the compression and thermal effects caused by high pressure and provide more accurate analysis results
Users have two options for boost mode: high analysis speed or on-demand scanning mode; Balanced mode for higher precision and more detailed results
The mercury temperature sensor used for expansion meter calibration allows for automatic calculation of mercury density
MicroActive software allows for interactive manipulation of data, customization of reports, and quick access to analysis results
Compensate for material compression under high pressure analysis

Mercury QuikVac is a low-cost method for quickly collecting spilled mercury. This device is specifically designed to collect difficult to collect mercury droplets and small suspended particles of contaminated mercury. Mercury is collected in a 250mL recycling container and a replaceable 0.3-0.5 µ m activated carbon filter is used to ensure clean and safe gas discharge.
