Matrix surface electromyography electrodes are used to analyze subtle changes in muscle electrophysiological activity in both temporal and spatial dimensions through matrix surface electromyography electrodes with extremely small spacing (1-8mm). This allows for in-depth exploration of muscle electrophysiological activity characteristics such as nerve innervation areas, nerve muscle fiber conduction velocity, motor unit analysis, encoding of muscle contraction characteristics, distribution of muscle fiber types, and muscle fatigue.
