In industrial production, with process adjustments, the difficulty of manual valve operation increases, making it difficult to meet daily work needs. Electric valves can improve operational convenience, control accuracy, and stability, making them suitable for more automation control scenarios, achieving seamless integration between manual and automatic control, and enhancing the efficiency and quality of industrial production.
There are various types of manual valves that can be modified, including manual gate valves, manual ball valves, manual butterfly valves, manual globe valves, etc.
Choose electric brackets and actuators that match the type, specifications, size, and control requirements of manual valves. The appropriate thread or flange connection method should be selected for the electric bracket, while the selection of the electric actuator should be based on the type of control signal and operational requirements. At the same time, when calculating the opening and closing torque of the valve, the output torque of the electrical installation should be 1.2-1.5 times the operating torque of the valve, taking into account the operating pressure and temperature of the valve.
Use tools to remove the handwheel and its connecting components, such as the handwheel and lever of a manual gate valve. During the disassembly process, attention should be paid to protecting the manual valve itself and the surrounding pipelines, and cleaning the connection parts to ensure a smooth surface.
First, install the electric bracket on the manual valve and connect the cables and control signal lines according to the instructions. Then install the electric actuator on the electric bracket, adjust the position and fix the screws, and connect the cables and control signal lines to the electric actuator and control system. After installation, configure according to the requirements of the control system. The control system can be a remote control or local control signal switch, or an automation control device such as PLC.
