If the instrument can be properly repaired and maintained, it can not only ensure the reliability and stability of the instrument, but also extend its service life.
1、 Daily maintenance
1. After each use, check if there is any overflow solution in the sample chamber and wipe it regularly to prevent corrosion of components or optical systems by waste liquid.
2. After use, the instrument should be covered with a dust cover. Silicone bags can be placed in the sample room and light source room to prevent moisture, but they should be removed when turned on.
3. When using and storing instrument LCD displays and keyboards on a daily basis, attention should be paid to preventing scratches, water, dust, and corrosion.
4. Regularly conduct performance indicator testing, and contact local UNICO product dealers or repair points immediately if any problems are found
When the instrument is not used for a long time, special attention should be paid to the temperature and humidity of the environment, and the silicone should be replaced regularly.
2、 Identification of common instrument malfunctions
When the instrument malfunctions, the main power supply should be cut off first, and then the following steps should be followed to gradually check.
1. Connect the instrument power and observe if the tungsten lamp is on.
2. Are the T, A, and C keys selected in their respective states.
3. Is the sample chamber cover tightly closed.
4. Is the position of the sample slot correct.
When the instrument wavelength is selected as 580nm, open the sample chamber cover and align white paper with the focused position of the optical path. A bright and complete rectangular orange yellow spot should be seen. When the spot is reddish or greenish, it indicates that the instrument wavelength has shifted.
Is it possible to adjust "100% T" or "0A" within the wavelength range specified in the instrument's technical specifications.
7. Check if the handle of the colorimetric dish is flexible.
Precautions for UV spectrophotometer
1. Provide a good working environment for the instrument according to the requirements of 4.2 working environment.
Considering that the instrument has been debugged to its optimal state before leaving the factory, users are not allowed to adjust it without authorization, nor can they disassemble its parts, especially not damaging the optical mirror surface. Do not wipe it casually either.
3. The product should be stored indoors under the original packaging conditions of the manufacturing plant, with an ambient temperature of 5 º C-35 º C and a relative humidity not exceeding 85%, and there should be no harmful substances in the air that can cause corrosion.
4. From the date of purchase by the user, if the instrument cannot function normally due to manufacturing defects during normal transportation, storage, and use within one year, the manufacturer is responsible for free repair (excluding vulnerable and consumable parts).
