The HY-CZ10 magnetostrictive oil tank level gauge adopts a low-power microcontroller and high-precision digital conversion components, as well as a digital temperature sensor for direct measurement and calculation. The measurement results are output in digital form and can be transmitted over long distances. It has excellent anti-interference performance and a modular design structure that is exquisite. It can achieve on-site maintenance of unclear tanks and reduce maintenance costs. The standard thread or flange connection makes on-site installation simple and fast.
When the sensor of HY-CZ10 magnetostrictive oil tank level gauge is working, the circuit part of the sensor will excite a pulse current on the waveguide wire. When the current propagates along the waveguide wire, a pulse current magnetic field will be generated around the waveguide wire. There is a float outside the sensor measuring rod, which can move up and down along the measuring rod with the change of liquid level. There is a set of permanent magnetic rings inside the float. When the pulse current magnetic field meets the magnetic ring magnetic field generated by the float, the magnetic field around the float changes, causing the waveguide wire made of magnetostrictive material to generate a torsional wave pulse at the position of the float. This pulse is transmitted back along the waveguide wire at a fixed speed and detected by the detection mechanism. The position of the float, i.e. the liquid level, can be accurately determined by measuring the time difference between the emitted pulse current and the torsional wave.

Structural composition:
