The HY-UHZ series magnetic flip column level gauge consists of a body, a flip box (composed of red and white dual color magnetic flip plates), a float, a flange cover, etc., and is used for level measurement of various liquid containers. It can be used for on-site or remote display and control of liquid level in high-temperature, explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, food and beverage, and other occasions. Suitable for various environments from low temperature to high temperature, vacuum to high pressure, etc., it is an ideal liquid level measurement product for industrial sectors such as petroleum and chemical industry. According to the different installation positions in the container, two forms are provided: side mounted and top mounted. According to different working media, stainless steel and 304, 316, 316L materials are provided, suitable for corrosive media such as acid and alkali.

Working principle

The HY-UHZ magnetic flip column level gauge (also known as a magnetic float level gauge) is developed based on the principle of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the tested container rises or falls, the magnetic float in the liquid level gauge body tube also rises or falls accordingly. The magnetic steel inside the float is transmitted to the magnetic flip column indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and white flip columns to flip 180 °. When the liquid level rises, the flip column changes from white to red, and when the liquid level falls, it changes from red to white. The red white boundary of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, thus achieving clear indication of the liquid level.

Product Features

1. Basic type

According to the principle of buoyancy, the float in the measuring tube moves up and down with the rise and fall of the liquid level. The magnetic steel inside the float drives the red and white flip columns to flip 180 ° through magnetic coupling. When the liquid level gauge rises, the flip column changes from white to red, and when it falls, it changes from red to white, thus achieving the indication of the liquid level.

2. Upper and lower limit switch output

Install a controller at the upper and lower limit positions set by the user on the main tube of the liquid level gauge. The controller includes a dry spring switch with self holding function or an alarm switch without memory function according to user requirements. The magnetic float moves with the liquid level to activate the spring switch, achieving alarm or limit control.

3. Electric remote transmission

Install a transmitter on the float level gauge, which consists of a measuring unit and a transmitting unit. It moves up and down through a magnetic float and uses magnetic coupling to sequentially move the measuring elements inside the guide rod, obtaining resistance signal changes and converting them into standard current signal outputs of 0-10mA or 4-20mA. It is connected to a digital display instrument or computer to achieve remote transmission.

4. Electronic dual color type

The UHZ-D electronic dual color magnetic float level gauge is a new generation product of the magnetic flap level gauge. It can display the liquid level clearly with red and green light columns. The observation distance during the day is 60M, and it can reach 200-300M at night. The magnetic flap level gauge is prone to dust accumulation after long-term use, especially in steel plants, which can easily accumulate fine iron filings over time. The red and green colors of the magnetic flap cover it, making it impossible to see the liquid level. In addition, the biggest disadvantage of the magnetic flap level gauge is that it cannot display light and cannot be observed at night. The UHZ-D electronic dual color magnetic float level gauge solves the above problems by breaking through the disadvantage of small measurement range of similar products in circuit design. It can be customized to any measurement height while ensuring low power consumption.

This product is suitable for departments such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, food, brewing, pharmaceuticals, chemical fibers, fertilizers, and environmental protection power and water supply, especially for users in steel mills, coking plants, power plants, etc. It is used to measure the liquid level in pressurized or open containers. The liquid level gauge can directly indicate the liquid level on site, and can also be equipped with a liquid level alarm switch to achieve remote liquid level alarm and limit control.

Compared with the magnetic flap level gauge, its main features are:

Luminous display: It can clearly display liquid level with red and green light columns, suitable for application in low light places, and more eye-catching for night observation;

The liquid level display is clear, the color is bright, the observation angle is large, the visible distance is far, and it is not easy to stick dust after long-term use;

Reasonable design, simple structure, easy maintenance, and complete separation of the tested medium from the display system;

Widely applicable to various media, it has good sealing properties when measured in corrosive solutions such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.

5. Steam jacket type

The measuring cylinder is equipped with a steam heating layer to maintain the temperature of the measured medium inside the measuring cylinder and prevent phenomena such as solidification and freezing of the measured medium due to changes in environmental temperature.

6. Electric heating type

The measuring cylinder is equipped with an external electric heating layer and an internal electric heating device. The heating device evenly transfers heat to the measuring cylinder through thermal oil, providing heating and insulation.

Note: Please add heat transfer oil to the safety line before the first use, otherwise it may damage the heating device.

For the connection flange of high-pressure side mounted magnetic level gauge, HG20595-97 neck butt welding connection flange DN25, PN6.0 or PNl0Mpa shall be used, and the sealing surface shall be raised or convex.
