Ma Shi NetAlso known as Malay style nets, Mahalanobis insect traps, insect collection nets, etc Suitable for various terrains, the collection bottle can be filled with 75% alcohol or water. The sample collection volume is large, the sampling period is long, and the amount of manual labor is small; It is a tool for ecological research monitoring. It is a tent type collection tool set up in the wild, with a black mesh at the bottom and vertical surface, and a white mesh at the top. When insects crawl out of the ground or fly along the ground, they are stopped by the vertical mesh. Based on the upward crawling and phototaxis characteristics of insects, they are collected in a collection tube at the top (the collection tube needs to be filled with water or alcohol). You only need to replace the collection tube regularly. It can provide 24/7 random collection, which is very useful for monitoring population density, dynamics, and ecological research. It is also easy to set up and display in places with tree branches and forests around it.

Two 500ml collection bottles (connected);
Fixed rope;
6 fixed piles;
The advantages of collecting are as follows:
(1) Can continue to collect;
(2) Less manpower is needed;
(3) Suitable for various environments;
(4) The sample is very clean;
(5) Relatively concentrated taxa;
(6) The direct preservation of samples in alcohol is a necessary quality for subsequent molecular research
reflect:
1) Continuous and uninterrupted collection ensures the continuity of sample collection time during the insect detection process; 2) The collected samples are clean with minimal impurities, reducing subsequent manual input; 3) Low labor costs greatly save manpower and time, both during the sample collection process and in the subsequent laboratory sample selection process; 4) The product has a wide range of environmental applications, whether it is farmland, vegetable fields, or forests, it can freely support the Malay mesh; 5) The collection of sample groups is relatively concentrated; 6) The sample is automatically stored in anhydrous ethanol, providing strong support for the successful molecular research in the future.
Experience and Suggestions:
1. Many field investigations require regular site transfers. If a point plans to collect data for 3-5 days, the network can be installed at the next point in advance; If a point is collected for more than 7 days, it can be reinstalled. This makes it convenient to collect samples when transferring points.
2. General adviceMa Shi NetCollect bottles and add 2/3 or more alcohol. In dry or humid environments, try to fill the bottle with 100% analytical pure alcohol as much as possible. When changing bottles in 7-10 days, you can simply fill the collection bottle with alcohol. It is not recommended to change alcohol. This can avoid: 1) increasing time investment; 2) The loss of tiny parasitic wasps. Many parasitic bee species may have a body length of less than 0.25mm and may be buried in the debris or debris of collection bottles; 3) Easy to cause errors in later experimental data processing due to label confusion.
