(1) Optical cables can be laid in the same way as general mining cables, but attention should be paid not to exceed the allowable tensile force, flattening force, and bending radius of the optical cable, otherwise it may cause sexual damage to the optical cable, and in severe cases, it may result in the cable being scrapped. The allowable tensile force of the optical cable during laying shall not exceed 10000N, and the tensile force of the optical cable during operation shall not exceed 4000N (which can be increased according to user requirements); The flattening force of the optical cable during laying is 3000N/100mm, and the flattening force during operation is 1000N/100mm; The allowable bending radius of the optical cable during laying is 25D, and the bending radius during operation is 12.5D.
(2) The ambient temperature during the installation and laying of optical cables should not be lower than -10 ℃.

(4) After the laying is completed, personnel should complete the connection of the optical cable. During the process of connecting the optical cable, electric sparks will be generated. Therefore, a gas safety officer should be equipped before the connection to conduct gas detection within a certain range of the connection site. When the gas concentration does not meet the safety requirements, the mine should be ventilated to reduce the gas concentration to a safe range before the optical cable can be connected.
