MA-3000 is a globally applicable standard model for our thermal decomposition mercury analyzer, developed to meet customers' needs for "easy instrument operation" and "no need for sample pretreatment". Without the need for pre-treatment with acid or alkali, samples such as waste, soil, coal, and food can be measured directly, simply, and quickly. Compared to typical mercury measuring instruments that require sample pretreatment, the detection time can be reduced by up to 86%.
The sample undergoes thermal decomposition treatment under preset conditions, where mercury is atomized and then collected separately in a special mercury collection tube - gold amalgam. The combustion tube can almost completely eliminate unnecessary interference during the measurement process. Afterwards, the mercury collection tube was reheated and measured using atomic absorption spectroscopy.

The impact of halogen interference is significantly reduced.
By finely controlling the temperature within the combustion path, cross contamination of the next sample is reduced.
By adopting a new optical detection system, measurements from low to high levels (up to 70000 ng) can be achieved.
Measurement can be carried out without the use of reagents (such as additives).
A 100 bit sample automatic sampler is standard equipment for the instrument.

The analysis operation is simple and does not require advanced analytical knowledge. Simply weigh the solid or liquid sample in the ceramic sample boat, place the sample boat on the instrument, and then select the thermal decomposition conditions. Thermal decomposition conditions are crucial in measurement, and based on our extensive application experience, each sample name has been registered.
We have multiple configuration options available. Various detection method requirements can be met on a single instrument, such as the mercury measurement method used in Japan - "atomic absorption reduction method"; and the measurement method for mercury in ambient air designated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection - "gold amalgam collection and atomic absorption spectroscopy measurement method".

The MA-3000 can be equipped with a reduction gasification measurement accessory (suitable for measuring liquid samples)/gas measurement accessory, allowing the same instrument to achieve multiple measurement functions. The accessory for reducing gasification measurement can choose between automatic injection (reagent distributor and automatic sampler) or economical manual injection.
