The design of MA-3 Solo strives for simplicity and ease of use. Unlike other instruments that require additional pure oxygen, this instrument only needs to purify air as auxiliary combustion gas and carrier gas. This design concept makes the instrument more suitable for on-site portable operation or mobile laboratory use. The ceramic sample boat is easy to clean and can be reused. The use of reusable sample boats without the need for additional gas reduces the cost of instrument operation.

Adopting advanced optical components, it has higher sensitivity and stability

The MA-3 Solo uses a high-quality, thermally stable mercury lamp that emits a strong and stable sharp beam at 253.7nm, eliminating the need for any light source filters. Two durable semiconductor detectors ensure a long service life for fault free operation, one for quantitative measurement of mercury concentration and one for measurement of reference beam. If an inexpensive half mirror is used for light splitting, it will result in a decrease in intensity and sensitivity. The MA-3 Solo uses high-quality gratings to split all light sources, which are then detected by two detectors, resulting in higher sensitivity and stability.

Real time diagnosis

The MA-3 Solo software continuously diagnoses key parameters such as temperature, flow rate, valve drive, and voltage of all heaters. When the software detects a problem, it will automatically remind the user, allowing them to quickly and easily troubleshoot and maximize the normal operation time and reliability of the instrument.

Compact, lightweight, and easy to carry

The MA-3 Solo is designed specifically for portability needs, featuring an ergonomic handle and weighing only 13 kilograms (approximately 28 pounds). As long as there is standard single-phase electricity, it can work normally, with voltage requirements of 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz.
