The oxidation stability tester (metal bath) is suitable for evaluating the oxidation stability of new and in use turbine oil with the same composition (base oil and additives). It can also be used to evaluate new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol as a rapid method for assessing their oxidation stability. The test results are used to verify the performance of new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol or 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol or both, and can be continuously controlled for each batch of oil. Mainly used in the fields of petroleum, chemical, power, pharmaceuticals, commercial inspection, scientific research, environmental protection, etc.
