Overview of Low Pressure Nitrogen Supply Control Valve

The nitrogen sealing device is mainly used for constant control of nitrogen pressure at the top of the storage tank to protect the materials inside the tank from nitriding and ensure the safety of the tank. The nitrogen sealing device consists of two main parts: ZZDQ quick release valve and ZZV micro pressure regulating valve. The quick release valve consists of a pressure controller and a ZMQ-16K single seat shut-off valve.

As the micro pressure regulating valve must be used at a pressure below 0.1Mpa and the on-site pressure is high, ZZYP type pressure regulating valve must be installed to reduce the pressure to below 0.1Mpa before it can be used. The nominal pressure is 0.1Mpa, and the pressure can be set in sections from 0.5Kpa to below 66Kpa. The medium temperature is ≤ 80 ℃.

Characteristics of nitrogen sealing device products

The nitrogen sealing device is convenient for setting the supply (discharge) nitrogen pressure and can be operated under continuous production conditions;

The nitrogen pressure setting range is wide, ranging from as low as 0.5Kpa (50mm. w. c) to as high as Kpa, with a ratio of 132 times. The effective area of the pressure detection diaphragm is large, the set spring stiffness is small, and the action is extremely sensitive.

Adjustment of low pressure nitrogen supply regulating valve:

Nitrogen supply pressure adjustment: Select a set value within the pressure adjustment range of ZZV type micro pressure regulating valve, such as 1Kpa (100mm. w. c), and adjust screw 2 to change the pre compression (tension) amount of spring 3 to achieve it;

Nitrogen release pressure adjustment: In the pressure controller section of the ZZDQ quick release valve, adjust seat 3 to change the pre compression amount of spring 4. Generally, to avoid frequent opening and closing of nitrogen sealing devices, the nitrogen release setting value should be far away from the nitrogen supply pressure value, such as 2Kpa (200mm. w. c);

Adjustment of high set value of breathing valve: After adjusting the above two set values, in order to avoid frequent opening and closing of the breathing valve, the set value of the breathing valve should be greater than the pressure relief set value.

The nitrogen sealing valve device is a type of self regulating valve. There are many types of self regulating valves depending on the application medium, including air, nitrogen, steam, and liquid. A breathing valve is usually installed on the top of the storage tank. When the toxic medium storage tank reaches a stable liquid level, the pressure on the top of the tank is equal to the vapor pressure of the medium at that temperature. When the breathing valve exhales, the toxic medium will be discharged outside the tank, which can easily cause personnel poisoning. In order to avoid the volatilization of toxic medium, a certain pressure needs to be maintained on the top of the tank to prevent the toxic medium from evaporating and then being emptied. Nitrogen gas is generally used to maintain this pressure, which is called nitrogen sealing.

The nitrogen sealing valve and nitrogen sealing device produced by the valve are independently developed and researched self operated micro pressure control systems. They are only used to maintain a constant pressure of the protective gas (usually nitrogen) at the top of the container, to avoid direct contact between the materials inside the container and air, prevent material volatilization, oxidation, and ensure the safety of the container. Specially suitable for gas seal protection systems of various large storage tanks. This product has the characteristics of energy saving, sensitive action, reliable operation, and convenient operation and maintenance. Widely used in industries such as petroleum and chemical.

Characteristics of low-pressure nitrogen supply regulating valve:

The nitrogen supply device opens and injects nitrogen into the storage tank to increase the pressure inside the tank. When the pressure inside the tank rises to the point where the nitrogen supply device automatically closes.
