The Q-SUN Xe-3 xenon lamp aging test chamber adopts air-cooled cooling and flat plate structure, which can hold samples of various shapes. The sliding out sample holder size is 451mm x 718mm, which is very convenient for exposing three-dimensional parts or large components.

2 Water spray:
The Xe-3 xenon lamp aging chamber simulates the invasion of outdoor rainwater through the option of pure water spray. Two nozzles are located at the top of the box. Spraying can be set to occur in a cycle of no light or light. Please note that the normal operation of Xe-3 with water spray requires purified water.
Back spray: can be used in Xe-3 test chambers and is also required by some SAE testing standards.It can spray water on both the front and back of the sample simultaneously. Please note that the normal operation of Xe-3 with back spray must also use purified water.
Double spray: can be used in Xe-3 test chambers. The second liquid (such as acid rain or soap solution) can be sprayed onto the test sample. The large external water tank, centrifugal pump, and filter will be connected to the Xe-3 test chamber.
3 Radiation monitoring:
The SOLAR EYE solar eye irradiance control system can continuously monitor and control the output of the light intensity of the lamp tube, ensuring the simulation of solar energy exposure and reproducible test results. The irradiance can be controlled at 340nm, 420nm, or TUV (total UV).
4 Blackboard thermometer:

The temperature can be set at any point between 42 º C and 120 º C, depending on the type of sensor, irradiation intensity, filter type, lamp usage time, and ambient temperature. 5 Sample holder:

6 Filter:

1) Sunlight filter
Sunlight filters are used to simulate direct summer noon sunlight.For most applications, they provide excellent correlation with natural exposure.
Materials commonly used outdoors, such as roof or exterior wall coatings, should be tested using daylight filters. The Q-SUN Xe-3 test chamber is equipped with three different types of daylight filters: Daylight-F, Daylight-Q, and Daylight-B/B.
2) Window glass filter
The spectrum generated by the window glass filter is equivalent to the sunlight passing through the window glass.
This spectrum can also simulate other indoor lighting, such as the glaring light in typical commercial or office environments. Due to its refrigeration system, the Q-SUN Xe-3 aging chamber can operate at 31 ℃ -120 ℃ and 50% relative humidity, depending on the type of sensor, irradiation intensity, filter type, lamp usage time, as well as the temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment. The Xe-3 refrigeration unit supports full-size Xe-3 testers and is equipped with wheels for easy relocation.
9 Controller and optional software
The Q-SUN Xe-3 controller is powerful and easy to use, supporting multiple optional programming languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German), and includes complete self checking and error checking functions. If necessary, it can also display simple warning messages, regular service reminders, or perform a secure shutdown.
The quality system requires proof of testing conditions, therefore each Q-SUN testing machine is equipped with an Ethernet connection. The optional 'virtual ribbon' PC software allows users to automatically record exposure conditions and transfer data directly from the Q-SUN testing machine to a Windows coefficient based computer. The data can also be sent directly to the Q-Lab technical support desk via email to seek diagnosis and troubleshooting from the manufacturer.
10 Easy calibration to ensure accuracy
The QUN Xe-3 blackboard temperature sensor needs to be calibrated regularly by the user. To ensure accurate and consistent results. The thermometer needs to be returned to Q-LAB for recalibration once a year, and the cost is minimal. Q-Lab's calibration laboratory has been certified by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA - Ohio Certificate Number 2382-01, China Certificate Number 2383-02, and England Certificate Number 2383-03) ISO 17025. Calibration originated from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States.
The Q-SUN Xe-3 SOLAR EYE irradiance sensor also needs to be calibrated regularly by the user to ensure accurate and consistent results.
