When the medium flows into the valve body as indicated by the arrow, the pressure of the medium acts on the valve disc, generating an upward thrust. When the thrust of the medium is greater than the gravity of the valve disc, the valve opens, allowing the medium to pass through. When the force of the medium pressure behind the valve acting on the valve disc plus the gravity of the valve disc itself is greater than the force of the pressure before the valve acting on the valve disc, the valve closes and prevents the medium from flowing back.

Installation precautions

After installation, the valve is not allowed to be subjected to significant external forces, and the operating conditions must be consistent with the requirements in the performance specifications.

maintenance
Regularly check the sealing performance of the valve. If leakage is found on the sealing surface, the sealing surface should be cleaned or repaired in a timely manner.

Regular maintenance should be carried out during long-term storage, and the valve should be placed in a dry warehouse. Outdoor storage is strictly prohibited.
