Overview
The AP2E laser analyzer for hydrogen analysis in chlorine gas uses infrared laser method to directly measure the concentration of target components in the sample gas. Its application originates from the optical cavity feedback enhanced laser (OFCEAS) technology jointly developed by us and the French laboratory, which greatly improves the optical resolution of the instrument, increases detector sensitivity, and reduces noise interference, enabling it to directly measure gas concentrations such as H2 and O2 that cannot be directly detected by traditional optical methods, and has * detection sensitivity for other gases such as water vapor and CO2. At present, this instrument has been widely used in the chlor alkali and petrochemical industries.
Product Details

AP2ELaser analyzer for hydrogen analysis in chlorine gasUsing * infrared laser method to directly measure the concentration of target components in the sample gas. At present, this instrument has been widely used in military applications (such as air monitoring in submarine cabins) and in chlor alkali and petrochemical industries.

Technical advantages:

  • Direct measurement - no need for complicated sample processing, OFCEAS cavity feedback enhanced laser combined with low-pressure sampling can avoid the absorption, desorption, and settling problems of compounds in the pipeline
  • Zero interference phenomenon - OFCEAS low-pressure sampling technology provides high spectral sensitivity, allowing the analyzer to simultaneously measure multiple analytes without interfering with each other (CH4, CO, CO2, H2, H2O, HCl, HCN, HF, N2O, NH3, O2)
  • No need to recalibrate the zero point, no drift - the zero point value has been set inside the instrument and can automatically perform internal zero point calibration
  • Easy operation - pre calibrated for applications, with touch screen and laptop for on-site and remote operation
  • Easy Integration - Digital (Ethernet, RS485, RS232, ModBus) and Analog Output
  • Low maintenance requirements - no optical moving parts
  • High cleanliness pipelines and filters - low pressure, low flow injection (3-9 l/h) combined with instantaneous reaction speed, significantly reducing pollution
  • Safe to use - can be designed for explosion-proof areas

Safety production control explosion limit
AP2ELaser analyzer for hydrogen analysis in chlorine gasEnsure the safe concentration of hydrogen (H2) in chlorine (Cl2):

  • The concentration of hydrogen (H2) in chlorine (Cl2) ranges from 4% to 93%, which poses an explosion hazard. The exact value may vary slightly depending on temperature, pressure, and other components.
  • The mandatory preventive measure is to install an online analytical instrument monitoring system. Poor quality brine can cause damage to the ion exchange membrane, causing hydrogen gas (H2) in the cathode electrolysis cell to flow into the anode electrolysis cell, resulting in an increase in hydrogen gas (H2) concentration. When chlorine gas is liquefied, the concentration of hydrogen gas (H2) will also increase, leading to safety accidents.
  • Corrosion of iron materials can also cause an increase in downstream hydrogen gas
