AIC2Large range dual range negative ion detectorIt is a portable detector that adopts the sampling principle of parallel electrode plates. The instrument panel has a large LCD display, and 8 function buttons are distributed below the display LCD for easy and fast operation. To prevent static electricity from affecting instrument data, an electrostatic protective net is installed on the top of the instrument. Air enters through the upper metal mesh and is discharged through the next exhaust hole. The serial number of the instrument is affixed to the back of the instrument. The upper part of the back is the battery box. Open the screws and replace the alkaline battery. The lower part of the instrument is equipped with an instrument bracket, which can be opened to secure the instrument during testing.

Precautions during measurement
During the operation, ion measurement involves air being drawn in at the top and leaving at the bottom. Do not block the air inlet and outlet openings.
When operated, the display shows the ion count within 1 second and continues to display the ion density in the air, indicating any changes that have occurred within 1 second.
A 20 foot long grounding wire is used for grounding most types of measuring instruments, especially when measuring near an ionizer.
After connecting the instrument, select the polarity to be measured. When changing polarity, the display count will immediately jump, but it will
Stable within 3 seconds.
When not measuring, put the instrument in standby mode to save battery power. To obtain an accurate reading of the average number of ions in a room, it is advisable to avoid measuring near charged plastics such as synthetic fabrics (clothing).
The object will reduce the number of positive and negative ions in the vicinity. Sometimes ions are unevenly distributed in a room.
There may be clouds in an area with negative ions, only a few inches away with almost no ions. A fan (even a slow one) in a room can help mix ions. If there is no mechanism to circulate the air, you may see the number of ions decrease, then increase, and then decrease again, irregularly moving back and forth as a "cloud" of ions. A considerable number of ions of two polarities can coexist in the same volume of air.
