Pump usage method and precautions:

1. Before using the pump, carefully check whether the cables are damaged, whether the fasteners are loose or detached, and whether the pump is deformed or damaged during transportation, storage, and installation.

2. Measure the same or relative ground insulation resistance of the electric pump motor with a 500V megohmmeter, and the value should not be less than 2 megohms. Otherwise, the motor stator winding should be dried, and the drying temperature should not exceed 120 ℃.

3. This series of ultra light portable stainless steel submersible pumps is equipped with aviation plugs, sockets, cable combinations, and dedicated permanent magnet synchronous variable frequency control cabinets for plug-in use. When in use, the pump end of the ultra light portable stainless steel submersible pump is connected to the motor load, and the other end is connected to the power supply input line with aviation plugs and cable lines. If the cable line is not long enough, an extension cable can be used.

4. When using this series of pumps, it is important to note that if there is no dedicated permanent magnet synchronous variable frequency control cabinet for this series of pumps, a dedicated variable frequency control cabinet for this pump must be used. The pump is connected to a high-speed variable frequency controller, which can be freely adjusted to a reasonable frequency from 0 to 167 during start-up, and the controller is then connected to the power supply.

5. The installation of this series of pumps includes two types: floating and ordinary submersible. When using floating installation, first cover the hose and tie the floating ring with a rope. Use a chain rope to thread through the two lifting rings to lift the electric pump. Be careful not to use the cable as a rope to avoid danger.

6. The grounding wire of the electric pump must be strictly connected in accordance with relevant regulations. In order to ensure personal safety during use, it is strictly prohibited for people to enter the water, install or move near the electric pump during operation. In case of accidents caused by electric pump leakage, it is necessary to stop the pump and turn off the power before moving or disassembling.

7. Electric pumps must be equipped with a fully automatic water pump control cabinet and a leakage protector unless there are special circumstances. Do not directly connect to the power grid or use a knife switch to connect the power supply to ensure the normal operation of the electric pump.

8. The water outlet pipe should be straightened and not knotted, otherwise it will increase the current of the water pump and cause current overload; It is not allowed to operate this series of electric pumps in a high head state for a long time (generally, the head should not exceed 20% of the rated head). It is best to control it within the rated head range to prevent the electric pump from burning out the motor or demagnetizing due to overload. On site operators must check the displayed current on the frequency converter (for example, the rated current of 22KW is 39.8). If the displayed current on the frequency converter is greater than the rated current, the frequency of use or the head of use should be reduced. The water pump must not be used with overcurrent.

9. Pumps without self circulating cooling devices are strictly prohibited from being exposed to the water surface for long-term operation to prevent overheating damage to the electric pump or cavitation of the impeller and outlet guide vanes.


Maintenance and upkeep:

1. The electric pump should be managed and used by a dedicated person, and the insulation resistance between the pump winding and the casing should be checked regularly to ensure that it is normal.

2. After each use, especially for thicker and more viscous slurries, be sure to put the electric pump into clean water and run it for several minutes to prevent sedimentation inside the pump and ensure its cleanliness.

3. If the electric pump is not used for a long time, it should be taken out of the water and not soaked in water for a long time to reduce the chance of moisture in the motor stator winding and increase the service life of the electric pump.

4. Under normal conditions, the pump should be filled or replaced with oil (10-30 octane oil) in the oil chamber after every 200-500 hours of use, in order to maintain good lubrication of the mechanical seal and improve its service life.

5. After disassembling and repairing the electric pump, the casing components must undergo a 0.2MPa air tightness test to ensure reliable motor sealing.

6. The sealing ring between the impeller and the pump body has a sealing function. If the sealing ring is damaged, it will directly affect the performance of the pump. Please replace it if necessary.
