Such as chrome plating, nickel plating, nitriding, boronizing, zinc doping, etc. Reduce asbestos impurities. The method of washing with distilled water can reduce the chlorine content in asbestos, thereby reducing its corrosiveness. Add corrosion inhibitor to asbestos packing. This corrosion inhibitor can inhibit the corrosiveness of chloride ions. Add sacrificial metal to asbestos. This is a sacrifice made of a metal with a lower potential than the valve stem. In this way, the corrosion of chloride ions first occurs on the sacrificial metal, thereby protecting the valve stem. Zinc powder can be used as a sacrificial metal. Using polytetrafluoroethylene protection. Polytetrafluoroethylene has excellent chemical stability and dielectric properties, and current cannot pass through. If asbestos packing is impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene, corrosion will be reduced. Alternatively, asbestos packing can be wrapped with PTFE tape and then packed into a stuffing box. Improving machining smoothness can also reduce electrochemical corrosion.
