This instrument measures the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (referring to Newtonian liquids) under a constant temperature condition. Kinematic viscosity refers to the measurement of the internal friction force of a liquid flowing under the action of gravity, which is the ratio of its dynamic viscosity to its density at the same temperature. It is one of the important physical and chemical performance indicators for identifying the grade and quality of oil products.
