1、 Key points of grassroots treatment

3、 Key points of moisture-proof layer construction (cold insulation must be done)

1. Wrap the entire rubber with a layer of aluminum foil tape or waterproof and moisture-proof cloth.

2. Overlap width ≥ 80mm, firmly adhered, without wrinkles or damage.

3. Function of moisture-proof layer:Anti condensation, anti water leakage, and prevention of rubber aging and powderingAbsolutely cannot be saved.

4、 Key points for construction of iron sheet protective layer

1. Common thickness of iron sheet: 0.5mm indoors, 0.6-0.8mm outdoors/in the workshop.

2. Accurate cutting of iron sheets, edge pressing and bending to prevent edge warping, hand cutting, and water seepage.

3. Overlap standard:

• Longitudinal overlap ≥ 50mm

• Circumferential overlap ≥ 50mm

4. Joint position:Longitudinal seam left below the pipeline sideAvoid facing water from above to prevent water from seeping in.

5. Circumferential overlapUp and downInstall in the direction of the water flow, without reverse pressure or pouring water.

6. Fixed adoptionStainless steel rivets/bucklesThe spacing is 150-200mm, evenly arranged, without sparse nails or missing nails.

5、 Key points for construction of irregular parts

1. The elbow is made of shrimp waist sections, with smooth curvature and tight splicing.

2. Cut the three-way and large and small heads separately, seal tightly, and strengthen the fixation.

3. Flange and valve manufacturingDetachable metal boxConvenient for later maintenance without damaging the insulation.

4. The iron sheet is flanged and sealed tightly at the position of passing through walls and floors.

6、 Key points of sealing and waterproofing

1. All iron sheet joints, nail holes, corners, and interfaces shall be weldedweather-resistant sealant.

2. The glue line is continuous and full, without any broken glue or holes, to prevent rainwater and moisture from entering the interior.

3. Outdoor, humid environment, aluminum foil tape can be added on the inside of the joint for dual waterproof protection.

7、 Quality taboo (must not be done)

1. Not brushing glue, brushing glue less, and the rubber joint is not tight.

2. Omitting the moisture-proof layer will result in widespread condensation, dripping, and mold growth in the later stage.

3. Ordinary iron nails and rivets are used for iron sheet, which will rust and rot later on.

4. Overlap in the opposite direction, with gaps facing upwards, allowing rainwater to directly pour in.

5. Cutting corners: thinning of iron sheets, scarcity of rivets, and failure to apply sealant.

8、 Finished product protection

1. Avoid hitting, stepping on, or scratching the iron sheet after construction is completed.

2. It is strictly prohibited to stack materials or heavy objects on the insulation layer.

3. Completion self inspection: no curled edges, no looseness, no glue leakage, and no exposure.
