Scope of application/intended use

This product is used to measure the bone density of the human forearm through X-rays.

Main functions and applications

Core diagnostic function: mainly used for early screening of osteoporosis, fracture risk prediction (T-value evaluation), drug efficacy tracking, and bone development evaluation (Z-value evaluation). The device is equipped with a professional Chinese bone density reference database, with a total sample size of ≥ 7750 cases, covering the population aged 0-100 years, making the diagnostic results more in line with the characteristics of the Chinese population.

Target audience and departments: The test population covers children (0-20 years old) and adults (20-100 years old). Therefore, it is very suitable for multiple clinical departments such as endocrinology, orthopedics, geriatrics, gynecology, rehabilitation, etc.

Rich report parameters: In addition to basic bone density (BMD), T-score, Z-score, multiple parameters such as bone mineral content (BMC), fracture risk (RRF), skeletal physiological age, expected age of onset of osteoporosis (EOA), and BMI index can also be provided to provide clinical evaluation data.

The equipment adopts dual energy X-ray absorption measurement method, with a measurement accuracy error of ≤ 1%, and can detect annual bone loss rates as low as 0.5% with fast scanning speed. It adopts digital imaging technology, which can achieve rapid measurement.

Safety protection design: One of the advantages of this series of equipment is the fully enclosed lead protection design. The equipment is equipped with a lead protective cover inside, and the radiation dose level at a distance of 1 meter from the equipment surface is only 1.13 μ Gy/h, which meets the requirements of the national standard (GBZ 130-2020). Therefore, there is no need to separately build a professional computer room with shielding protection, greatly reducing the installation and maintenance costs of the hospital and ensuring the safety of doctors and patients.

Intelligent and user-friendly operation: The device adopts an integrated body design, making it easy to move. Equipped with a built-in high-definition camera and side screen display, it can observe and assist in correcting the placement position of the subject's forearm in real time, ensuring detection accuracy and efficiency.
