When the vehicle performs sudden braking or brakes multiple times in a short period of time at high speed, the braking performance is less likely to deteriorate, which can improve the braking effect of the vehicle and enhance its safety. Drum brakes are equipped with two semi-circular brake pads inside the wheel hub, which use the "lever principle" to push the brake pads and cause friction between the brake pads and the inner surface of the wheel drum. Simply put, drum brakes are braking devices that use the stationary brake pads inside the brake drum to friction the brake drum that rotates with the wheels, generating frictional force to reduce the speed of wheel rotation. Drum brakes use hydraulic pressure to push the brake pads inside the brake drum outward, causing friction between the brake pads and the inner surface of the brake drum that rotates with the wheels, resulting in a braking effect. The inner surface of the brake drum of drum brakes is the location where the braking device generates braking torque.
