The Kauls and Lemmer Group was founded in Vienna, Austria in 1907 by Franz Kauls and Lorenz Lemmer,It is a low-voltage switch that switches multiple circuits. These components are fastened together as a whole with bolts.

The contact system consists of several static contact seats embedded in an insulating shell and moving contacts in a movable bracket. The moving contact is a double break docking type contact bridge, which rotates to different positions along with the shaft attached with a handle to connect or disconnect the circuit. The positioning mechanism adopts a roller card ratchet structure, equipped with different limit pieces, which can obtain switches of different gears. Assembled from multiple layers of insulating shells, it can be arranged in three dimensions, reducing installation area, with a simple and compact structure, and safe and reliable operation. Switches with different connection methods can be formed according to the requirements of the circuit to meet the needs of different circuits.

In control and measurement systems, circuit conversion is used. For example, the switching of power supply for electrical equipment, the forward and reverse switching of electric motors, and the switching of voltage and current in measurement circuits. Replacing the knife switch not only simplifies the control or measurement circuit, but also avoids operational errors and reduces the number of components used.
