The Japanese HD harmonic reducer CSF-58-80-2UH is composed of three components: harmonic generator, rigid wheel, and flexible wheel. Any one of these three components can be fixed to become a deceleration transmission or an acceleration transmission, or a generator, a rigid wheel drive, and a flexible wheel driven to become a differential mechanism.

Only certain special components are exceptions. In situations where the elimination of the cantilever condition of bevel gears improves the reliability of reducer operation and compensates for certain structural complexities, bearing cup sleeves can also be used.


Support components for cantilever bevel gears - According to structural and process requirements, bevel gears are often made into cantilever shapes. In high-speed reducers, radial thrust bearings are often used as the support for cantilever bevel gears. When carrying heavy loads at medium speeds, tapered roller bearings are used. When the axial load alternates, paired double radial thrust bearings and radial roller bearings or spherical bearings are used simultaneously.


The bearing cup sleeve is usually used to install and adjust the bevel gear components of the cantilever, and is only suitable for situations where all bearings installed on the shaft have been adjusted outside the bearing cup sleeve. After the bearing is installed on the shaft, install the bearing cup sleeve and fix it. Then install the entire bearing cup sleeve assembly into the hole of the casing, and check the contact marks of the bevel gear transmission. Fix the bearing cup sleeve with screws.


Axial or radial labyrinth seals are more reliable, and the axial clearance of this seal should be large enough to compensate for assembly errors and thermal deformation. The sealing effect is related to the size of the radial clearance. The radial clearance is generally not greater than 0.1-0.2 millimeters. However, it should be pointed out that when the working temperature is high, the lubricating grease in the labyrinth seal gap will melt, and when the circumferential velocity is greater than or equal to 5m/sec, the lubricating grease will be thrown out of the seal.


When the circumferential speed of the axial force exceeds 30m/sec, centrifugal sealing can be used, in which the oil in the middle chamber should be reliably discharged.
