Overview

Liyin VT-06 is a portable, handheld vibrating viscometer mainly used for quick and easy on-site measurement of liquid viscosity.

Product Details

1、 Core Features

1. Portable and handheld design: With small size and light weight, it is very suitable for rapid on-site testing in different locations such as factories, laboratories, and warehouses.

2. Easy to operate: Simply immerse the sensor probe into the liquid to be measured, press the measurement button, and the viscosity value can be directly read within seconds.

3. Vibration principle: There is a small vibrating piece at the front end of the sensor, and the viscosity is calculated by measuring its resistance to vibration in the liquid. This principle makes its measurement speed fast and easy to clean.

4. Wide range: typically covering a viscosity range from low to high (e.g. 0.3 mPa · s to 20000 mPa · s), suitable for various types of liquids.

5. Temperature measurement: Equipped with a built-in temperature sensor, it can display the real-time temperature of the liquid while measuring viscosity, as viscosity is very sensitive to temperature.

6. Data recording function: Some models may support storing multiple sets of measurement data for easy subsequent recording and tracking.

2、 Main application areas

VT-06 is widely used in industries that require rapid viscosity testing, such as:

·Oil testing: Determine the degree of deterioration of lubricating oil, engine oil, gear oil, etc.

·Paint and Ink: Ensure that the spray viscosity of the paint or the printing viscosity of the ink meets the requirements.

·Food and Beverage: Quality Control of Semi Fluid Products such as Syrup, Chocolate, Sauce, etc.

·Chemical industry and adhesives: monitoring the concentration and reaction process of resins, solvents, adhesives, etc.

·Pharmaceutical industry: quality control of drugs, syrups and other products.

---

3、 Basic operating steps

1. Preparation:

·Ensure that the battery is fully charged.

·Turn on the instrument.

·Check and select the correct measurement unit (e.g. mPa · s or cP, typically 1 mPa · s=1 cP).

2. Measurement:

·Immerse the probe of the sensor into the liquid to be tested, being careful not to touch the bottom and walls of the container.

·Keep the instrument stable and gently press the measurement button (MEAS).

·Wait for the displayed value to stabilize (usually taking a few seconds), at which point the viscosity value at the current temperature will be displayed.

3. Follow up:

·After the measurement is completed, lift the sensor and gently dry the sample on the probe with a soft cloth or tissue.

·Clean the sensor with a suitable solvent (such as alcohol, diluent, etc.) to prevent residue from affecting the accuracy of the next measurement.

·Turn off the power.

4、 Important precautions

·Temperature is key: viscosity is greatly affected by temperature. For effective comparison, all measurements should be taken at the same or similar temperature and the temperature values recorded. The temperature display function that comes with VT-06 is very helpful for this.

·Avoid collision: The vibration plate of the sensor is very precise, and it is strictly prohibited to collide or rub with the bottom or side wall of the container, otherwise it will damage the sensor or cause calibration errors.

·Immersion depth: The metal part (vibrating part) at the front end of the sensor must be submerged in liquid.

·Regular calibration: In order to ensure measurement accuracy, it is necessary to calibrate the instrument regularly using standard viscosity liquid according to the instructions or frequency of use.

·Sample state: Ensure that the sample is in a stationary state and free from bubble interference during measurement.
