Instrument characteristics of coal slagging tester

JX-HN2 slagging tester is an instrument developed according to the technical requirements specified in the standard "Method for Determining Coal Slag" (GB1572-89). Mainly used to determine the difficulty of coal slagging during gasification or combustion processes. Used for the determination of slagging properties of lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite, and coke.

Key points of the method for coal slagging tester

Load a sample with a particle size of 3-6mm into a gasification device, ignite it with charcoal of the same particle size, and gasify (burn) it at the specified blowing intensity. After the sample is burned out, stop blowing, cool, weigh and screen it. Calculate the slagging rate from the mass of slag blocks larger than 6mm, indicating the slagging property of coal.

Equipment required for coal slagging tester

Blower: air volume not less than 12m3/h, air pressure not less than 49hPa (500mmH2O).

Muffle furnace: The heating chamber inside the furnace shall have the following dimensions: height 140mm, width 200mm, depth 320mm. The rear or upper wall of the furnace shall have exhaust holes and be equipped with temperature controllers.

Industrial balance: Weigh 1kg and have a sensitivity of 0.01g.
