JMZ stainless steel self-priming pump adopts a new type of mechanical seal assembly, which is safe and explosion-proof, and does not leak all year round. It is suitable for conveying various alcoholic beverages, beverages, dairy products, medicines, gasoline, solvent oil, syrup, etc. at -35 degrees+80 degrees (the suction stroke will be significantly reduced above 40 degrees). This pump has the characteristics of compact structure, easy operation, small volume, light weight, stable performance, no need for bottom valve, and no need for injection during start-up. Stainless steel self-priming pumpInstructions for Use

1. Our unit's pumps are usually equipped with three-phase motors when they leave the factory. If the user connects the 380V power supply and the direction is correct, they can be used. If a single-phase motor is required, it should be specified at the time of ordering that the single-phase motor can only be used with a 220V power supply.

2. Before using the pump, the pump body must be filled with solution from the exhaust plug. Tighten Rose, then press the turn signal to start the motor. Depending on the suction height, it usually takes 2-4 minutes to automatically exhaust the air and deliver the liquid. The next start does not require refilling. When starting a pump that has not been used for a long time, first turn on the water dispenser and check if there is any liquid in the pump body. If it is insufficient, please fill it up.

3. It is strictly prohibited to start the motor when there is no liquid in the pump body to prevent mechanical seal friction, heating and burning.

4. Before starting the pump, it should be applied to the rotating coupling to check whether it rotates flexibly. If there is high resistance, the cause should be identified and dealt with before closing and starting.

5. After operation, observe whether there is any leakage in the sealing part. If there is a slight leakage, it can be run in for 10-20 minutes. After the dynamic and static ring end faces are evenly worn in, it can generally be solved. Otherwise, it should be disassembled and inspected item by item before reinstalling.

6. Transporting concentrated acid slurry, rinse with clean water after parking to reduce the corrosion of accumulated acid and alkali liquids on the pump and pipeline, especially to avoid the medium settling on the sealed dynamic and static rings, which may cause the ring to bite during the next start-up.

7. The main shaft and rotating parts of the pump should be kept clean, and the bearing body should be replenished with grease 2-3 times a year, with a quantity of 40% of the grease chamber filled to capacity.

8. Please pay attention to moisture and corrosion prevention for the motor matched on the pump. When replacing the motor, the capacity and speed of the new motor must be the same as the original one.

(1) Installation of new pump:

1. The pump can be laid and the position of the foot bolts can be determined according to the "Pump Outline Installation Dimension Table". But after the pump is transported to the site, construction will be carried out according to the size of the base.

2. The pump is installed on the foundation, and the level of the unit can be adjusted with shims. The level of the pump and motor shafts should be checked with a spirit level, and the alignment between the pump shaft and motor shaft should be rechecked and adjusted. The difference between the outer circle, upper, lower, left, and right of the pump and coupling should not exceed 0.15 millimeters using a knife edge ruler and a feeler gauge. The deviation between the end faces of the two couplings shall not exceed 0.2 millimeters.

3. The pump should not bear the weight of the pipeline, and the weight of the pipeline should be supported by pipeline support equipment.

4. After installation, manually rotate the coupling to see if it is easy and flexible, and if there is any jamming phenomenon.

(2) Disassembly and assembly of pump:

1. Unscrew the four screws connecting the bearing body and pump body, and loosen the mechanical seal and pump cover at the same time.

2. Unscrew the impeller screw (right-handed) to remove the impeller, key, and pump cover, and then remove the mechanical seal from the pump cover.

3. Use a slider to pull down the coupling, then remove the key and bearing end cover. Finally, disassemble the shaft and bearing.

4. The assembly sequence of the pump is reversed as described above.

5. When reinstalling the inlet coupling of the self-priming pump, please note that the water blocking valve should be facing forward to ensure a snug fit with the front of the water blocking valve to ensure self-priming effect (see figure).

(3) Installation of mechanical seal:

1. When replacing mechanical seals, attention should be paid to the specifications and models that match the original ones.

2. During the installation of mechanical seals, cleanliness should be maintained and the sealing components should not be knocked to prevent damage and destruction.

3. When installing large and small sealing rings and dynamic and static rings, the shaft surface should be coated with a layer of clean engine oil and transparent oil.

4. Install the static ring and large rubber ring into the pump cover, and then install them together on the shaft (note: the dynamic ring pin must be aligned with the drive hole of the impeller).

5. Integrate the spring seat, spring, and push ring together, with the end face of the spring seat as the force point, and push it onto the main shaft. The thrust should be compressed by the spring by 2-4mm and then slide on the shaft. If the spring is not yet compressed and can slide, it indicates that the fit between the dynamic ring and the main shaft is loose and the friction is small. If the spring is compressed by more than 6mm and the dynamic ring and sealing ring still cannot slide on the shaft, it indicates that the fit is tight, and the mechanical seal should be checked to see if it matches the original one.
