The wear tester is a device that contacts two grinding wheels at a specified distance with a specimen template installed on a horizontal turntable, and ensures that the central axis of the two grinding wheels is not in the same plane as the central axis of the turntable. When the turntable rotates, the left grinding wheel generates friction from the outside towards the center of the template surface, while the right grinding wheel generates friction from the center of the template surface towards the outside. When the turntable rotates continuously, a series of intersecting circular friction marks in a mesh shape are formed on the surface of the template. By adopting this wear arrangement, the surface of the sample is subjected to friction in all directions, avoiding obvious directional defects in the friction of the wear tester that moves back and forth in one direction, making the wear evaluation more objective.
