J. Schneider DC power supply AKKUTEC 2410/2420
AKKUTEC 2410 and 2420 are battery buffered DC uninterruptible power supplies (DC-UPS) that operate using the backup parallel principle. When the power grid is normal, the equipment supplies power to the connected load and charges the battery at the same time; When the power grid is cut off, the equipment and battery work together to maintain uninterrupted DC voltage output for a specific period of time.
Main features:
Primary switch mode power supply with I/U charging characteristic curve.
Active power factor correction (PFC).
Battery management supported by microcontrollers.
Optional operation and display panel for controlling cabinet door installation.
An external temperature sensor can be optionally installed to track the temperature of the charging voltage.
target audienceThis manual is aimed atProfessional electrician. The installation, debugging, maintenance, and shutdown of equipment must be carried out by professional electricians.
Safety Warning:
Before operating the equipment, it is necessary to ensure thatpower outageAnd comply with the five safety rules of EN 50110.
The device isProtection level IIt is necessary to connect the protective grounding wire.
It is prohibited to open the casing or make modifications, and repairs can only be carried out by the manufacturer.
Wear goggles when operating batteries, be aware of the corrosiveness of the battery electrolyte and the potential for hydrogen gas (explosion risk) during charging.
Can only be usedlead-acid batteryIt is strictly prohibited to mix batteries of different types, brands, or levels of age.
The battery mustfirmly fixed,防止短路。
input: 230V AC ±15%,50/60 Hz。
output24V DC (SELV/PELV).
Model difference:
AKKUTEC 2410Rated output current 10A, maximum battery circuit fuse 15A.
AKKUTEC 2420Rated output current 20A, maximum battery circuit fuse 25A.
Device variantsIncluding standard equipment, models with 7Ah or 12Ah mounting plates, and 19 inch rack mounted models.
Protection levelIP20, pollution level 2, overvoltage category II.
Operating Temperature: 0 ° C to+40 ° C.
Mechanical InstallationEnsure that there is at least 75mm of ventilation space around the equipment, no heat sources below, and comply with specified climate conditions.
electrical connection:
Input (L, N, PE)Connect to the power grid.
Battery (Batt+, Batt -): ConnectTwo 12V batteries connected in seriesPay attention to the correct polarity.
Output (Ua+, Ua -)Connect the load.
Signal interface (IO-1)Used for temperature sensors, UPS shutdown, strong charging, and fault/grid status signal contacts.
CS (Current Share) 端子Used for parallel connection in master-slave mode.
Battery selectionMultiple battery and battery module options ranging from 1.2Ah to 120Ah are provided, and the selection needs to be based on the required buffering time and load current.
power onAfter connecting the input voltage, the device automatically starts, outputs power, and starts charging the battery.
LED status indication:
Fault (red)Buffer mode operation, battery circuit interruption, battery reverse connection, battery aging, high temperature, etc.
Grid mode (green)The input voltage is normal and the internal temperature is normal.
Battery voltage is normal (green)The voltage is between 21.6V and 27.9V DC.
High battery voltage (green)Voltage higher than 27.9V DC (strong charging state).
Battery testingAfter the device is powered on for 1 hour, the power grid is restored, and after buffering operation, a battery test will be conducted (cycled every 24 hours) to test the battery's load capacity by briefly reducing the output voltage.
UPS Shutdown (USV Switch Off)By applying a 24V DC signal to the IO-1 (3) terminal, the buffer mode can be terminated in advance.
Strong Charging (Starkladung)By applying a 24V DC signal to the IO-1 (4) terminal, deep discharge or sulfurized batteries can be activated and quickly charged, but time limitations should be noted.
Temperature Sensor (MTIA)Optional, automatically activated after connection, able to adjust the charging voltage according to the battery environment temperature to achieve optimized charging.
routine inspectionIt is recommended to check the buffering capacity of the battery every 3-6 months. Clean the equipment casing at least once a year to ensure unobstructed ventilation.
Battery replacement steps:
Disconnect the input voltage.
Perform UPS shutdown or remove battery circuit fuse.
Disconnect the electrical connection of the battery.
Release the battery fixing device and remove the old battery.
Install the new battery in reverse orderBe sure to pay attention to polarity.
