AKKUTEC 2410 and 2420 are battery buffered DC uninterruptible power supplies (DC-UPS) that operate using the backup parallel principle. When the power grid is normal, the equipment supplies power to the connected load and charges the battery at the same time; When the power grid is cut off, the equipment and battery work together to maintain uninterrupted DC voltage output for a specific period of time.

‌4、 Installation and Connection‌

1. ‌Mechanical InstallationEnsure that there is at least 75mm of ventilation space around the equipment, no heat sources below, and comply with specified climate conditions.

‌5、 Operation and Function‌

1. ‌power onAfter connecting the input voltage, the device automatically starts, outputs power, and starts charging the battery.

2. ‌LED status indication‌：

• ‌Fault (red)Buffer mode operation, battery circuit interruption, battery reverse connection, battery aging, high temperature, etc.

• ‌Grid mode (green)The input voltage is normal and the internal temperature is normal.

3. ‌Battery testingAfter the device is powered on for 1 hour, the power grid is restored, and after buffering operation, a battery test will be conducted (cycled every 24 hours) to test the battery's load capacity by briefly reducing the output voltage.

4. ‌UPS Shutdown (USV Switch Off)By applying a 24V DC signal to the IO-1 (3) terminal, the buffer mode can be terminated in advance.

5. ‌Strong Charging (Starkladung)By applying a 24V DC signal to the IO-1 (4) terminal, deep discharge or sulfurized batteries can be activated and quickly charged, but time limitations should be noted.

6. ‌Temperature Sensor (MTIA)Optional, automatically activated after connection, able to adjust the charging voltage according to the battery environment temperature to achieve optimized charging.

‌6、 Maintenance and replacement‌

1. ‌routine inspectionIt is recommended to check the buffering capacity of the battery every 3-6 months. Clean the equipment casing at least once a year to ensure unobstructed ventilation.

2. ‌Battery replacement steps‌：

• Disconnect the input voltage.

• Perform UPS shutdown or remove battery circuit fuse.

• Disconnect the electrical connection of the battery.

• Release the battery fixing device and remove the old battery.
