1、 Definition
The Italian ATOS proportional valve is a hydraulic control regulating element used to change the flow direction, flow rate, pressure and other parameters of the transmission medium (hydraulic oil or gas). Compared with ordinary directional valves, it has higher control accuracy and response speed, can meet frequently changing working requirements, and provide more stable output signals.
2、 Working principle
The Italian ATOS proportional valve controls the position of the proportional core based on input signals (electrical or pneumatic signals), thereby adjusting the size of the channel opening inside the valve core, achieving the distribution and control of liquid flow. When the input signal changes, the position of the proportional core immediately moves, changing the opening of the channel and causing output fluctuations within a certain range. Normally, proportional directional valves need to be operated in conjunction with hydraulic power units and control circuits. The hydraulic power unit converts the input signal into a mechanical signal, enabling the proportional core to achieve displacement; The control circuit can output standard electrical signals or analog current signals according to operational needs.

3、 Structural characteristics
The main structural features of Italian ATOS proportional valves include the following aspects:
1. Valve body structure:
Generally, it is manufactured by casting or forging, and the valve body is equipped with cross channels inside to connect the hydraulic oil source and hydraulic actuator, forming multiple communication modes.
2. Valve core structure:
The valve core is composed of a valve core head and a valve core sleeve. The valve core head is a movable component directly connected to the proportional core, which can rotate or translate and adjust the flow rate and pressure through the core hole to achieve proportional adjustment.
3. Proportional directional valve core:
The proportional directional valve core consists of a proportional sensor and a core plug. The proportional sensor combines electrical or pneumatic signals with the core plug to control the stroke of the valve core in the valve core sleeve, thereby adjusting the pressure, flow rate, and direction of the hydraulic system.
4. Control circuit:
The control circuit generally consists of a power supply, a regulating circuit, a proportional circuit, and an output circuit. Among them, the proportional circuit is the output function between the voltage signal applied by the control valve core and the displacement of the core insertion, while the regulating circuit is used to ensure the dynamic performance of the valve, making it have characteristics such as pressure compensation and steady-state accuracy.
