Yvonne glass wool, also known as centrifugal glass wool felt, is a finished product made by Saint Gobain glass wool (OC) with exclusive centrifugal technology. It is made by processing melted glass fibers with environmentally friendly formula binders mainly composed of thermosetting resins. It is an elastic felt made of glass fibers with a diameter of only a few microns, and can be directly compounded with moisture-proof veneers according to requirements. It has a large number of small atmospheric pores, which enable it to provide insulation, sound absorption, noise reduction, and peaceful protection. It is a good product for steel layout insulation, sound absorption, and noise reduction.

Glass wool belongs to a type of glass fiber and is an artificial inorganic fiber. The primary consideration is to accept natural ores such as quartz sand, limestone, and dolomite, and to collaborate with chemical materials such as soda ash and borax to melt them into glass. Under it, with the help of external force, it is blown into fluffy fine fibers, and the fibers are interwoven in a three-dimensional manner, showing many gaps between each other. This type of gap can be seen as a pore. Glass wool can be regarded as a porous material with excellent insulation and sound absorption properties.

The atmospheric flow resistance is the ratio of the atmospheric pressure and flow velocity on both sides of the material when the thickness of the unit is measured. The atmospheric flow resistance is a factor that affects the sound absorption performance of centrifugal glass wool.
