Acetic anhydride is an important chemical raw material widely used in the production of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, dyes, plastics, fragrances, and other chemicals. Its properties are corrosive and irritating
Therefore, quality testing of acetic anhydride is crucial in the production, transportation, and use processes. Through scientific testing methods, it can be ensured that the purity, content, and other relevant indicators of acetic anhydride meet the standards,
Thus ensuring product quality and safety.
Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd《Industrial acetic anhydride determination using capillary chromatography column application ShimadzuTianjin 》High column efficiency, good separation, good separation of acetic anhydride and impurities, in Shimadzu, Agilent,
Varian, Thermo Fisher, PE, Brooke and others have been installed and used with good results.

Introduction and Installation of Capillary Column
1. Each gas chromatography capillary column of Haohan Chromatography has undergone strict industry standard testing in terms of column loss, sensitivity, and column efficiency, and can provide you with qualitative and quantitative analysis results.
2. Provide peak shape and signal-to-noise ratio.
3. Capillary columns have industry-leading technology, high inertness, low loss levels, and high inter column reproducibility.
4. Capillary chromatography columns are tested according to strict industry standards as needed, and capillary columns that have undergone cross-linking and bonding treatment and are resistant to solvent cleaning are produced based on requirements and practical applications.
Installation of capillary column:
1. Carefully inspect whether the column is damaged.
2. Collect necessary installation tools: column cutter, column nut, washer, magnifying glass, typewriter correction fluid.
3. Loosen the column approximately 0.5 meters from each end of the column ring to facilitate the installation of the injection port and detector.
4. Install columns in the column box. If possible, use a column hanging bracket.
5. Install nuts and Vespel or graphite pads at both ends of the column. Pull the nut and washer down the column by about 5 centimeters.
6. Cut the column. Lightly draw a line about 4-5cm from each end of the column.
7. Ensure a clean cut. Grasp the pillar with your thumb and index finger, as close as possible to the scratch. Gently bend the column. The pillar should easily break. If the column cannot be broken, force cannot be applied forcefully. Cut the pillar again in different places and try to make a neat cut.
8. Install the column at the injection port. Refer to the instrument manual provided by the GC manufacturer to obtain the correct installation interval. Mark the correct spacing on the column with typewriter correction fluid. Insert the column into the injection port. Tighten the column nut by hand until it begins to clamp the column. Twist another 1/4-1/2 turn, so that when gently pulled, the pillar will not come out.
9. Ensure that the carrier gas passes through the column. Insert the tail end of the column into the container to check for bubbles.
10. Install the column into the detector. Refer to the instruction manual of the instrument manufacturer to obtain the appropriate installation interval.
11. Leak detection. This is very important. We cannot heat the column without leak detection.
Set appropriate temperatures for the injection port and detector.
13. Set appropriate supplementary gas and detection gas flow rates. Ignite or turn on the detector.
14. Cool blow the column at room temperature for 10 minutes (approximately 6 times the column volume).
