summary
Industrial standard substanceIRM-913 StAg antigen standardProduced by Akron Rubber Development Lab, the full name is Amino Natural Rubber Protein Reference Antigen, which can be used as a coating antigen and standard substance in ASTM D6499 and YY/T 0616.7 to test the protein content in natural rubber latex.
1. Introduction to Akron Rubber Development Lab
Akron Rubber Development Lab (ARDL) was founded by Robert Samples in 1962 as an independent third-party laboratory in Akron, Ohio, USA. After 60 years of development, ARDL has become an international laboratory providing testing, development, and problem-solving services for the rubber and plastic industry. Akron Rubber Development Laboratory has passed A2LA ISO 17025:2017, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016, and meets FDA compliance requirements. It can serve multiple fields such as healthcare, textiles, and automotive.
2,IRM-913 StAg antigen standardPrinciple of use
The immunological method for determining the antigen protein content in natural latex gloves based on natural latex protein specific antibodies involves incubating the test sample with specific natural latex protein specific antibodies. Separate the remaining natural latex protein antibodies and bind them to excess natural latex protein antigens pre coated on a fixed carrier. Add a substrate for color development, and determine the OD value by performing a color change reaction on the substrate.
3. Instructions for using IRM-913
Firstly, prepare an IRM-913 protein solution with a concentration of 1mg/ml using distilled water, divide it into polypropylene tubes and store it at -20 degrees Celsius. After thawing, store it at 4 degrees Celsius.
Again, prepare the IRM-913 protein solution with carbonate buffer to a concentration of 3ug/ml for coating the assay plate.
Finally, dilute the IRM-913 protein solution to a concentration of 2ug/ml for competitive inhibition. To reduce protein loss, all steps should be performed in a polypropylene container, avoiding the use of polystyrene or glass materials.
4. IRM-913 saving method
After freeze-drying, IRM-913 is sealed in a glass vial under nitrogen protection and stored at 4 ℃ for a shelf life of more than 10 years. When in use, dissolve the freeze-dried IRM-913 in distilled water to a concentration of 1 mg/ml. Then, transfer this stock solution into polypropylene tubes and store it at -20 ℃. Reminder: After thawing, the packaging solution should be stored in a 4 ℃ environment and used up within one week.
In conclusion, IRM-913 natural latex protein antigen standard has stable properties and good batch reproducibility, which can meet the protein content determination requirements of ASTM D6499 and YY/T 0616.7 for natural rubber latex.
