The IK-200 online hydrogen purity analyzer is a miniature thermal conductivity cell with temperature compensation function using German HLP, which has stability, reproducibility, and high accuracy.
The hydrogen cooling unit of the power plant can effectively reduce the heat loss of the generator winding and improve the power generation efficiency through hydrogen cooling. The losses caused by winding impedance are called ventilation losses, and even generators slightly polluted by oil, gas, water, and air will experience increased ventilation losses. There is data indicating that a 1% decrease in hydrogen purity leads to a 12% increase in losses, therefore increasing hydrogen purity means reducing production costs. When the purity of hydrogen decreases, it can also pose a hidden danger to the safe operation of the generator.
The determination of hydrogen content in mixed gases produced in petrochemical industry is of great significance for cracking processes, hydrogenation processes, etc. The oxygen content in hydrogen directly affects the key performance indicators of products. In addition, measuring hydrogen purity is also essential in the synthetic ammonia industry.
